We have a diverse leadership team. The composition of our leadership team is a reflection of our operating principle of being "Globally Local". Our leaders come from the local geographies that we operate in and bring in the depth of "local knowledge" required to succeed in those countries. They are all senior professionals from the industry, with vast experience in leading and managing large organizations in our key markets and verticals.

Charles Cooper-Driver

Charles co-founded Careline in 1997 with a vision to create a contact centre business that embodied his commitment to people oriented, results focused customer management; a vision refined by his experiences managing businesses - on both sides of the Atlantic - that depended on contact centres as primary sales channels. Firmly committed to involved leadership, he is ultimately responsible for the development of Careline and its people and engages closely with clients, meeting with them regularly and directly managing the team of Client Directors. In this way he ensures that Careline's strategic business decisions are taken quickly and are dictated by our clients' best interests. Before creating Careline, Charles achieved a 4 year turnaround of a direct marketing production company, taking it from heavy losses to profitability, merging with a competitor and, ultimately, selling the combined business to a larger buyer. He previously held marketing, sales and development roles with US based software companies including Wang, Compuserve and CCA where, as venture manager, he was responsible for the development of an early and innovative contact management system for sales environments. Charles has a BSc in business administration and engineering from Boston University and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Joy Padlan, the Vice President – International Operations for HGS Philippines

Joy PadlanJoy Padlan, the Vice President – International Operations for HGS Philippines, has close to 25 years of overall professional experience, 16 years of which are in customer service operations in HGS. She was involved in the setup and expansion work covering business process mapping, organizational design, workforce profiling and recruitment, infrastructure planning and contractual and account management in HGS Philippines. She has extensive operations management experience handling multiple international and US-based processes in HGS, in diverse verticals such as utility services, logistics and transport, technical helpdesk support, consumer retail, financial and credit card services, pharmaceutical services and healthcare. Prior to joining HGS, Joy has also worked in the domains of public relations, retail management and marketing.

Joy attended the Executive Development Program at the Asian Institute of Management and holds a Bachelor degree in Broadcast Communication from the University of the Philippines where she graduated cum laude.

During his time with HGS Murthy has held a number of roles including Business Development, Business Transition, Delivery and Planning. In a career spanning 18 years,Murthy has been associated with organizations like Datapro, GTL, PCL, and Larsen & Toubro. He has been instrumental in successfully transitioning complex off shore projects in Telecom and Health care to India. Murthy is a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Chennai and a post-graduate from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kolkata.

He has been with the Hinduja Group for 10 years in various capacities and functions, including Investment Banking, Project Management, Business Planning & Development, and Corporate Finance. Pushkar specializes in Project Planning and Implementation. Prior to taking up his current responsibility of managing and leading our Manila center, Pushkar was the CEO of Hinduja Global's Media Commerce and E-Commerce businesses in India. He has over 19 years of experience, and has had distinguished stints with India's leading Investment Banking company, SBI Capital Markets, and with Larsen & Toubro, India's leading engineering company. Pushkar is a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.

Ramesh has experience in client services, transition management and operations with direct P&L and organizational building responsibility during his previous assignments. He has been responsible for consulting to and operational management of US Hospitals' Business Offices with the objective of improving net revenue and accelerating cash flows. Prior to HGS, Ramesh worked with Accenture, Deloitte Consulting, and Infosys BPO. He joins us from Gridstone Research where he was co-founder and country head for India. Ramesh has a Bachelors degree in Engineering from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is a CFA charter holder awarded by the CFA Institute, USA.

Ross Beattie

Ross Beattie – OLS - Canada

Ross BeattieRoss has over 30 years experience in the Technology Sectors. As a Senior Account Manager at Digital Equipment he assisted the hardware giant to multiply sales six-fold to blue chip accounts such as Michelin Tire, Pratt & Whitney and Litton Systems. Ross's entrepreneurial spirit led him to a number of start-up opportunities. These skills and the reputation he gained through these experiences brought him to the President's chair at ITI (Information Technology Institute). In April 2000, Ross led an investment group that purchased OLS, where he led the company to grow from a 20 person, 1 site operation to its current size of 10 sites with over 2000 employees. OLS has an enviable position in the market place, and is constantly ranked among the top 2 suppliers for their clients. Ross's passion is partnership. His engaging, entrepreneurial spirit encourages OLS's internal staff and external partners to promote a business culture built on his own values, of honesty, fairness and integrity.

Sridhar Krishnamurthy - India – Domestic Business & Strategic Initiatives

Sridhar KrishnamurthyAs the Global Head of Strategic Initiatives, Sridhar is responsible for M&A Integration and the rollout of New Strategic Initiatives for the Company. In addition to this role, Sridhar heads the Domestic Operations and Business Development functions for the India geography. Sridhar has over 22 years of experience in back-office operations and BPO, working with clients both in the Indian and International markets, on processes across banking, financial services, and telecom and insurance domains. He has extensive experience in startups, creating infrastructure and teams to manage complex processes. Sridhar has a comprehensive understanding of technology, process migration, staffing & training, quality of delivery, project management, and infrastructure requirements relating back offices operations Prior to HGS, Sridhar was the Head of Global BPO operations at 3I Infotech Ltd with BPO operations in India, US, China and Africa. Earlier to this, Sridhar was the Head of BPO at Mastek Lt, where he set up and built Mastek's BPO practice. He has worked as a Director with EMR Technology Ventures Pvt Ltd and AR Credit Information Services Pvt Ltd., organizations which deliver BPO services in the international and domestic market. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from Delhi University.

Subhankar GhoshSubhankar Ghosh is the head of HGS Europe, responsible for leading the company's European business and operations. Prior to 2009, he was managing the integration of an acquisition of over 1500 employees in USA. He is a leader with constant focus on deriving maximum synergies from the acquisitions across the geographies. Having joined HGS in 2003, Subhankar has led HGS's network of business process outsourcing of large delivery centers in Bangalore, India and Toronto, Canada and has managed several leadership initiatives in various geographies. Before joining HGS, Subhankar has worked for 16 years in HCL Ltd and Tata-Unisys Ltd. He has an extensive domain experience across Business Development and Global Service Delivery and has a substantial experience with Start-ups. He is a graduate in Computer Science and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Institute of Technology and Management, Mumbai. He is based out of London.

Tina CarlsonTina Carlson, Senior Vice President - Service Delivery, USA, has literally risen through the ranks of operations at HGS. With more than 20 years of valuable first-hand HGS experience, she leads the operations team by driving productivity, efficiency, and quality in every customer interaction. Tina spear-headed the effort in attaining HGS' first COPC certification, and became a certified COPC Coordinator. Her current position as the Head of Operations for US includes responsibility for HGS' five North American contact centers and its fulfillment center.

Tina earned an undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University.

Partha De SarkarPartha De Sarkar is the Global Chief Executive Officer of HGS and leads the organization across all its geographies. Partha is responsible for building HGS into a global organization by focusing on being a preferred business process transformation partner for our clients, and creating value in all our customer relationships through innovative outsourcing solutions. Partha has 20 years of experience in customer service and operations across industries like Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare and Insurance. Prior to joining HGS Ltd, Partha has set up complex outsourcing projects in organizations like Deloitte Consulting, GE Capital International Services and Bank of America. He was responsible for setting up operations for large remote processing centers in India to service international clients in the US, UK, Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Partha holds a post-graduate degree in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, and a Masters degree in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Chennai. He has also done his Ph.D in Strategic Management from IIT Delhi.

Srinivas PalakodetiSrinivas Palakodeti, fondly called Pala, spear-heads our Finance function across all global locations and subsidiaries. An integral member of our Global Executive Council, he plays a key role in Mergers & Acquisitions strategy and execution. Pala has a long association with the Hinduja Group, handling versatile assignments and diverse roles in the Group Companies - Ashok Leyland Investments Services, Hinduja TMT Ltd, IndusInd Bank and IndusInd Media & Communications Ltd. Prior to joining HGS, he was working as the Executive Vice President - Strategy for the Hinduja Group. He was responsible for the Technology, Media & Telecommunications verticals. Pala has served as the CFO of companies like IMCL, Sahara One Media and Entertainments Ltd and Sakal Papers Ltd. He brings with him 21 years of rich industry experience with cross functional capabilities in operations, project planning & implementation, deal structuring and investor relations. Pala holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a Bachelors degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi.

Anthony JosephAs the Global Head of Human Resources, Anthony is responsible for developing, recommending, implementing and leading human resources strategy and policy in support of the Business Objectives of HGS. He implements our operational and strategic goals by providing a fully integrated and effective human resources service. He guides the development of our structured Recruitment Process and our comprehensive Training and Development Programme. He has commendable expertise and substantial interest in managing change in a fast moving business environment. Anthony joins us from the NSL group, where he had the group responsibility for Human Resources and Industrial Relations. In his illustrious career spanning 25 years, he has initiated and implemented HR best practices across global corporations like Deloitte Consulting, G.E. Plastics and Convergys. He has directly and indirectly been responsible for recruitment of over 10,000 employees across Information Technology (IT), Information Technology Enabled Services (ITeS) and Engineering & Manufacturing sectors. Anthony is a Post Graduate in Personnel Management and Human Resources from XLRI, Jamshedpur and a graduate in commerce from St Xavier's College, Calcutta. As an opinion leader in the ITeS sector, he is a speaker and mentor at NASSCOM & CII forums.

Ashwin Hoskote

Ashwin Hoskote - Business Excellence

Ashwin HoskoteAshwin Hoskote is responsible for operational excellence across all the business functions globally. Ashwin and his team drive process excellence across all our global locations. Ashwin was earlier working for Infosys BPO Ltd where he was heading the Enterprise Quality Group. Ashwin spearheaded an initiative that got Infosys BPO on the honors list of CII-Exim Bank Award for Business Excellence in 2007. Recently, he program managed the preparation and evaluation for level 5 certification of eSCM-SP V2.0. Ashwin has over 26 years of work experience in the area of Quality, Business Excellence, Six Sigma and HRD. He has been associated with LG-Philips Displays Ltd, Hong Kong, Philips Software Ltd, India, iGATE Solutions and Wipro, in the quality and business excellence functions. Ashwin is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and is certified in Juran on Quality Improvement methodology.

Deepak RastogiDeepak is responsible for strategic initiatives across the company as Global Head-Business Planning. Deepak addresses a variety of corporate strategic issues, with a focus on disciplined management of long term profitable growth. He also plays an important role in acquisition strategy & its implementation. Prior to joining HGS, Deepak was SVP (Finance and Business Planning) & Corporate Secretary for Aegis Communications Group, Inc. He has a diversified experience of being in Telecom, Venture Capital & Automotive industries. Deepak worked on setting-up Cellular Mobile & Wireline Telephony, Broadband Internet and Call-center BPO business for Essar Group, in areas of project finance, risk management and planning and M&A. He was also the Head of Corporate Planning at TACO, a member of the prestigious TATA Group in India. He co-managed Auto Ancillary Fund for IL&FS Venture Fund after his stint with Maruti-Suzuki. Deepak is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi and a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.

Kanti has the responsibility for all legal matters pertaining to contracts, statutory compliances on commercial property, labor, intellectual property rights, patents, and government matters. Kanti has over 25 years of professional experience in the corporate sector as well as in his professional practice. Kanti has worked with Steel Tubes of India, Pro-Agro Seeds Company Limited, and Coca-Cola India in both, the legal function as well as the statutory role of a company secretary. In addition to legal responsibilities for India, Kanti was a member of the global legal function of The Coca-Cola Company, USA. Kanti has extensive legal experience comprising legal support for IPR protection, structuring and execution of joint venture and licensing arrangements, securing government approvals, and interacting with national and international legal experts and attorneys. Prior to joining HGS, Kanti was managing his own firm in Delhi. Kanti has a Bachelor's Degree in Law, is a qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and is a Cost and Management Accountant from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He is a member of the International Bar Association, London and the Bar Council of India.

Sanjay Sinha

Sanjay Sinha - M&A – HR, Corp Comm

Sanjay SinhaSanjay is responsible for bringing in integration capabilities for HR in the various M & A opportunities that HGS is exploring globally. Prior to joining HGS, Sanjay's last assignment was with Nortel Networks as Director - HR (Asia Pacific & Greater China) and was based out of Singapore. In addition, he has worked with NTPC, Siemens, Lucent Technologies and Polaris Software. Sanjay has more than 22 years of experience in Human Resources across industries like Telecom, Software and Infrastructure. While he has a strong HR generalist profile where the role calls for solid strategic support to businesses, he has done some world-class work in Talent Management (inclusive of talent management/development, succession planning, leadership pipeline development & performance management), Organizational Development and Organizational change including large scale restructuring and change management in a complex, multi-cultural, multi-location and highly matrix environment. He has been a SME in various HR domains at various stages of his career. Sanjay holds a post-graduate degree in Management from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) University of Delhi. He also holds certification on psychometric instruments related to Personality profiling by Thomas International and Association of Psychological Types (APT) on DISC and MBTI. Sanjay has many research reports to his credit. He is also a member of Indian Society of Applied Behavioral Sciences (ISABS) and National HRD Network.

Subramanya CSubramanya is responsible for the Technical Services Group at HGS Ltd. He is an expert in Information Technology and Information Security and is responsible for implementing, maintaining and monitoring our world class technology and information security. Subramanya has over 18 years of experience in the technology domain across various industries, and handles various aspects of conceptualizing and commissioning of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and other IT Enabled Services operations including transition of projects across our global facilities. Subramanya is an Engineering graduate in Computer Science from MEI Group of Institutions, India and has undergone short-term courses in Customer Support and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, India.

U B Sudhir KumarSudhir heads the Procurement function globally. He is responsible for sourcing technology as well as non-technology assets and services. Sudhir joins us from Usha Shiram Group. Sudhir has over 20 years of experience and has had different distinguished stints in the banking industry such as Syndicate Bank and Andhra Bank. He has varied experience in Banking, Business Development, Corporate Planning, Resource Management, Economic Analysis, Foreign Exchange Dealings, Market Intelligence, Credit Management and Funds Management. Sudhir is an MBA majoring in Finance and holds a Masters degree in Commerce. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI), USA and an Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. Sudhir holds a PG Diploma in Public Relations.
